A new to-do list app and a bunch of other productivity tools powers language coach Lindie Botes and her day-to-day productivity. Here's her setup.
Lindie Botes is someone who loves productivity. She has a massive passion for sites like Product Hunt that help her find new productivity tools to use throughout the day. She has explored a range of different productivity tools, but she mainly explores and uses note-taking applications and to-do list applications.
In her work as a language coach and her own work in the cryptocurrency space, she uses a range of tools to get the job done and keep herself organized. Let’s start with the tools that she no longer uses but has used in the past.
She does not currently use Evernote as it is too bloated and pricey. She’s moved on to tools that better integrate with multiple devices, and the first of those tools that she moved away from Evernote for was Apple Notes.
She highly appreciates Apple Notes thanks to the seamless integration across all her Apple devices and uses it daily for quick notes and tasks. This allows her to keep everything organized for both work and life in one organized location. Sometimes, people might consider replacing software like Evernote thanks to the integrations with existing hardware they use, which might be better suited for quick access and functionality.
She uses Google Docs for archiving important documents and creating large bodies of work. She appreciates the reliable cloud storage that is part of Google Drive and takes advantage of it.
The to-do application TickTick is one that she is transitioning from. TickTick offers a to-do list experience that many people like thanks to the easy access and functionality of adding a task and planning it into the calendar, but one of the reasons why she’s moving away is because of her new discovery, Superlist.
Lindie explores Superlist in her video outlining how she uses it and all the capabilities to sync between devices. She found that while using the service in its early days, it has been buggy, but of course, that’s common with new products that are released, and Superlist is only a few months old.
Lindie is a big fan of Superlist and has really enjoyed the experience; the application makes task-taking more delightful.
Finally, she uses Notion in limited contexts. She found it overly complex for personal use and continues to use it in work-related tasks where it is beneficial.
