What we think about the Design of xTiles?
The design isn't bad, but it isn't as attractive as other similar apps in the space. There's not much quality on this front, it looks like they focused a lot more on the features that they have the look of the tool.

Great Minimal Alternative to Notion
Great minimal Notion alternative with a slow learning curve. Xtiles was the first productivity app I've discovered for visual user like myself that also likes planning and making quick notes. It isn't slow like Notion when you open to use it even the mobile app functions better.

Very easy to use, and great for visual thinkers
Where this app stands out, and not always mentioned in reviews, is it's level of customer support. You can have a free onboarding call (Google Meet), and get chat's answered by a real person! I had a few feature requests in my onboarding call and received an email the following day saying they had been passed onto the development team, and many if not all would soon be implemented. It is very intuitive and easy to pick up. The creative page format allows you great flexibility in arranging data in a way that suits you best. 'Collections' function like Notion databases, with options to view in Table, Gallery, Kanban, Calendar, Timeline and Form (latter two Plus version only). Whilst some functionality is currently missing - number formats and formulas are soon to be released. Excellent task management, which pulls tasks from different projects and displays them in one place. Also integrates with Google Calendar Has end-to-end encryption, so more secure than Notion. Good for project management, and simple databases - with good selection of pre-built templates to choose from Less good for structuring knowledge if you want to see relationships as can be achieved with apps such as Obsidian, AnyType and Capacaties - but these are complex apps with a much steeper learning curve. If you have used a paper bullet journal you will love this!
