Motion vs ClickUp: AI Simplicity or Feature Overload in 2026?

Enterprise pricing is custom but includes dedicated support and advanced permissions. For teams, ClickUp is way more affordable than Motion. For individuals, the free tier might be all you need if you're willing to deal with the complexity.

Motion's mobile apps are clean and focused. Your schedule syncs instantly, so you see what you're supposed to be working on right now. Adding tasks is quick, and the AI immediately finds time to do them.

I wouldn't say the mobile experience is mind-blowing, but it does what it needs to do: keep you on track when you're away from your desk. The calendar view works well on smaller screens, which is important since that's basically the whole interface. Location reminders aren't a thing here, but honestly I haven't missed them.

ClickUp's mobile apps are functional but cramped. There's just too much going on to fit on a phone screen comfortably. You can view tasks, update statuses, add comments, but switching between different views and customizing things feels fiddly on mobile. The iOS app follows design guidelines pretty well. Android version works but feels like a webapp wrapped in native chrome. Not terrible, just not exceptional.
