THE app for reducing Screen Time!
I’ve been using Opal daily for a while now, and it’s the only screen time app I’ve consistently stuck with. It’s incredibly effective at blocking apps, games, and even websites. When you try to open a blocked app, you’re greeted with a cool message and image that keeps you motivated. The app also lets you take breaks, allowing you to check what you need before the blocking resumes. It features amazing Apple Shortcuts for starting and ending sessions, different difficulty levels to suit your needs, and so much more. It’s definitely worth trying out!

Overall great, but needs more visualizations
The point of this app is to reduce your screen time, and we don't get much visualization to really compare our screen time from let's say the week before last. This week and the week before or this month and the month before. So there's not much guilt attached to it. Sure, they have their weekly review, but that's it. You can't compare things side by side. Otherwise, this tool just works - I think visualizing makes you take more responsibility for your screen time rather than just fully blocking it. Because we need facts on our face. Their MacOS tool is also kind of underwhelming.
