The Ultimate Tool for Teams and Adaptability

I’ve been using Notion for the past five years, and I honestly can’t imagine how any team can function without it. Every team and company is unique, and Notion lets you adapt the product to your specific needs, not the other way around. As someone always on the lookout for new tools, I haven’t found anything nearly as good. One downside is the push towards AI, which might not be for everyone, but on the bright side, the platform keeps getting faster and more efficient. Overall, Notion remains unmatched in versatility and functionality!

Super Customizable note taking

Notion is the perfect tool for the people who love to create their own system. The way they explain their system as lego blocks is exactly how it works which is simple to understand but makes room for advanced workflows. It is feature rich and the team is always shipping more improvement. With the possibility of offline mode in alpha version in 2025, Notion is set to get even better.

Most customizable note-taking software

Notion is the first note-taking tool that I've ever used in my life. It was really cool how you can edit documents, add tables, create dashboards and all the bunch. Definitely still a really strong tool with a lot of prospects, especially since it will have offline support.

Worth the learning curve

I have used Notion for several years. I am often thinking of a use case that I then either learn someone has a setup for or, based on elements from other templates, I can build myself. I also love how the Notion community helps one another learn and get better. One drawback is that it is very easy to "tinker" in Notion while avoiding the actual work. It is super fun though so being aware things can be a distraction makes me mindful to capture tweak ideas and then work on them at the appropriate time.

A feature rich and customizable tool with a learning curve to match

Notion is a great tool. It's feature rich with notes, productivity tools, databases, a calendar, you name it. Notion is also fully customizable. You can design a layout that is both aesthetically pleasing and functional. It really is an all-in-one productivity tool and all for the low price of free for personal use. Syncing with Notion is instantaneous. You can type on a computer and watch it update live on a mobile app. While the customization is a selling feature, it is also what has stopped me from using the app in the past. I found myself spending too much time setting up Notion, watching countless videos because of the learning curve, always trying to find ways to tweak the design. In short, I spent more time with the productivity tool rather than being productive. Writing in Notion is okay. It will get the job done, but other apps do it better in my opinion and are a little more pleasing to the eye. I also like to switch between typed and handwritten notes, which isn't an option in Notion. Even though I stopped using it, that doesn't take away from how good Notion is. The free plan is a great value for everything you get. Just taking a moment to dive back into the app for this review has me wanting to give it a second chance.

Can be anything and everything you need. But should you use it for everything?

I've been using Notion for quite a long time now. The promise of Notion is amazing. It's a blank canvas that you can build anything out of. I've used it as a simple note-taking tool, and later to build huge life organization systems and dashboards in Notion. At one point I got overwhelmed by all that I'd built for myself. Now I just use it as a PKM, just to store notes, and make databases to track stuff I like. I've redirected things like quick capture to tools like Apple Notes and Todoist. But as a PKM, Notion just simply works for me and is an essential tool. No offline mode and slow performance are some bummers, but Notion does say it will be addressed in their roadmap. So fingers crossed for that.

A Powerful Tool for Organization with Room for Improvement in Arabic Support and Android Performance

Notion is a fantastic tool for organizing daily events and tasks, especially for team collaboration. I don't think the database features and different views can be found in any other app It might require some time and effort to learn, but once you're familiar with it, it is a game changer. The best part is that the free version includes most of the features, unlike many other apps that push you towards a paid version. However, there are a few areas that need improvement. For instance, as an Arabic language user, I find writing and organizing notes challenging since it doesn't support right-to-left writing. Additionally, the Android app is quite slow and lacks many features.

Use it for your second brain

Ideal for just throwing all your notes in. Use databases, tags, etc. to organise them. Get a template or build your own one. Can also use it for tasks / reminders, but I still prefer Google Calendar and tick-tick for this.

Notion: A Reliable Tool for Content Management

Notion is a versatile tool for content management that I've been seeking for a while. It's reliable, and its range of features is impressive. The ability to create and customize databases is particularly useful. Even with the free version, there's a lot you can accomplish, making it accessible to many users.

Versatile All-in-One Tool

Using it for everything from note-taking to project management. It's a bit of a learning curve, but the customization options are endless. My entire biz and projects depends on it. I hope they brings the offline feature soon. After that its a solid 10.

Good but quite complicated note tool

I switched to Notion from Evernote. I like that's easy to organize hundreds of notes in that tool and there is many formatting possibilities. A lot of features, but on the other hand - it's a complicated tool, rather not for a personal usage. I miss the handwriting feature with Apple Pencil and sometimes I'm logged out with no reason, but still - it's a good tool

Notion's great for organizing everything, but it takes a bit to learn and can lag.

I've been getting into Notion, and it's pretty game-changing for organizing pretty much everything in my life. It's super customizable, which means I can tailor it exactly to my needs, whether it's for jotting down ideas or managing complex projects. The downside? There's a bit of a learning curve, and it can get a bit slow with really heavy pages. But once you're past that initial bump, it's incredibly useful—like a digital Swiss Army knife for all your organizational needs.
