Morgen Calendar wants to help manage tasks, calendar & scheduling in one.

Morgen Review - AI Summary

Morgen stands out as a powerful productivity tool, offering excellent integrations and time management features. Its desktop app shines with functionalities like drag-and-drop scheduling and the ability to centralize multiple calendars. However, the mobile app lags behind, with limited features and usability issues that dampen the experience for on-the-go users. While the app is constantly updated and supported by a responsive team, occasional bugs and reliability concerns, such as missed calendar updates, can be frustrating. For users willing to invest time and money into a developing product, Morgen is a strong contender, but it’s not without its shortcomings.

Daily user for 3 years

I've used Morgen + Todoist to manage my life as an engineering student for almost three years now. It is one of the most valuable tools I've ever used. Key features: * todoist + task integration * linux support * keybinds + functional UI * natural language event input * integrate multiple calendars * integration with videoconferencing platform * super friendly, helpful, and transparent company, have had numerous excellent interactions

Has everything I could ask for, and more.

I've been using Morgen for almost 2 years now. Given the wide range of platforms and OSs that I use, I needed something that works reliably across all. The integration with a wide variety of calendars was important (Outlook and Gmail namely). The syncing is fantastic, and overall consistent experience on mobile and desktop means less mucking around with multiple apps to get the same thing done. There are definitely places where it could be improved, but I am not worried as those things are minor compared to what I would have to deal with when it comes to other clients. Also, the Morgen team are extremely responsive. They've implemented at least TWO feature requests I made over the past year of using Morgen, and they are always improving based on user feedback. My favourite is the fact I can incorporate my PERSONAL calendars with my WORK calendars. I like the ability to see them all at once. But with keyboard shortcuts, I can hide one or the other. For example, if I need to open up the calendar app at work, I hide the personal calendars. I actually have 5 different views as a combination of calendars, tasks, etc. There are many features I am yet to incorporate into my workflow, but when I have time I will explore them. For now, it's doing all I need, and it's reassuring to know I have even more power. Overall an awesome experience and I can't see myself moving to another app thanks to all it supports and their responsive customer service.

I really love the morgen calendar

Overall, Morgen Calendar is a promising calendar application that offers seamless integration with Notion and Microsoft To-Do. Its ease of use and clean interface make it a great choice for users who rely on these platforms for task management. The app's functionality and convenience are undeniable, as it enhances productivity and organization. However, there are areas for improvement that could elevate Morgen Calendar to the next level. The app's user interface could benefit from a more modern and sleek design, resembling that of Mac or Google Calendar. Additionally, optimizing the app's utilization and performance would further enhance the user experience. Morgen Calendar is a solid calendar application that excels in integration with popular productivity tools. With some refinements to its design and functionality, it has the potential to become a top contender in the crowded calendar app market. If you prioritize seamless integration with Notion and Microsoft To-Do, Morgen Calendar is definitely worth considering.

Sunrise Calendar's worthy successor

Finally, an app able to replace Sunrise Calendar, which Microsoft treacherously murdered. While it is able to link all the calendars most people use (Google, Outlook, iCloud), it doesn't yet do everything a user could want (e.g., automatically linking between Outlook and iCloud Calendar). However, it's still probably Fantastical's best competitor at the moment, and it has the huge advantage of being for Windows as well.

The One to Beat

Morgen is how my brain works, full stop. I've been looking for something that not only is a full-featured calendar app (complete with cmd+K shortcuts) — something to compliment Superhuman — but also one that implements time blocking the way I would want and works with tools I use (like Linear). It's truly the best thing that also just so happens to have Calendly-like features on top. I can't recommend anything else.

Bridges my home and work life beautifully

I can sync my home Apple iCloud Calendar and my work Google Calendars beautifully and Morgen can look at both calendars and manage my availability. I cancelled my Calendly sub because Morgen creates booking pages easily and I can see my team's availability in the calendar which with Calendly was not easy. The integration with Linear is amazing, I can take the tasks assigned to me and drop them right in my calendar to time block and make sure I get to those tasks. Finally it has a great Slack integration and assistant. If I make a team meeting without an agenda I get a slack notification to which I can reply with brief text that Morgen converts to a succinct agenda and I will update the invitation without me having to open the app

Dedicated Calendar App perfect for time blocking

Morgen is great as it pairs with todoist to create a extremly low friction task/time blocking flow. Works great across platforms and have a great design; It still lacks a bit on mobile and perfomance startup, but nothing much diferrent compared to other solutions. It has many meetings and scheduling tools but im not using them. I just mostly for personal use.

Excellent calendar tool

Morgen is the best calendar I ever used so far in 20+ years of working. It's simple to use, yet sofisticated in features. It's fast and reliable. And is continuously developing toward user's real needs through a permanent conversation with us, the customers. I really appreciate the automations and the development of API, which further expand the potential usage scenarios for the tool. Chapeau, Morgen!

Absolutely love it

Morgen is currently the only solution that successfully integrates my todolist and all my calendars with seamless syncing and allows me to timeblock efficiently. Its the only calendar I use on my laptop. helpful if you keep your todo list on todoist, but currently limited for other platforms. I wish the mobile app would be faster and have increased feature but morgen is great with its updates

Great tool for your productivity

It's a great tool for working with a calendar, to-do list that's connected to said calendar AND for letting customers book in their appointments. I'm working with ZOOM which is a great connection and it's easy to connect with Apple Calendar. I had some issues with Teams and Morgen, but not sure if it was on MS side or Morgen. Setting up is easy. Just need to follow your to-do-list and you're great :)

Great tool to manage tasks and calendar events in one place!

I've used Morgen about 3 months now, and find it invaluable to my current workflows. I was looking for a tool that allowed me to manage tasks and calendar events in one place, and also integrated with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft To Do, both of which I use extensively for work. Setting things up was the only confusing part - you have to have sys admin rights at my workplace to install any software and allow it to connect to our Office 365 implementation. But once all that was squared away, using Morgen is really super easy and simple. And the integrations are smooth, allowing for two-way syncing and editing. This means that my changes in Morgen show up in my Outlook calendar, and vice-versa. Last but not least, the design is really gorgeous. It looks amazing on Windows, Mac, and iOS, and having a cross-platform solution that just works and looks as good as this is almost too good to be true! My only wish list item is a built-in timer for all tasks and events so that I can track actual time spent on all tasks/events, with cumulative totals for each project, day, week, and month. Most of my work is hourly, so having this feature would be absolutely killer!

Best Calendar for Cross-Platform use

Simply a very well built calendar application that does its job regardless of the operating system you are on. Good Exchange support. Very responsive developers. What really stands out for me is cross-platform use together with the ease of use that morgen provides. As an early adopter, I still got the lifetime license but with the current monthly fee its not cheap anymore. It still gives you good value for your money.

It is a good app but it lacks synchronization of google contacts.

The application design and the approach of being able to integrate several tools in a single agenda application is great. However there is one issue that is tedious and that is that when you want to invite others to a meeting you must enter their emails manually without being able to select them from your contact book (Google Contacts) would be excellent. The other integration that from my daily use would be great is the integration with ClickUp. In summary it is fine but the integration of contacts is essential from my point of view. I love it but it has some issues

I love the app, I've been using it for two years. I think all the integrations are quite useful. It does lag a bit sometimes, which of course is not ideal but I don't mind it that much. My only issue is with the mobile app, I think it needs a lot of improvements, sometimes it does not reflect what I have scheduled in my desktop app, and the interface feels less "clean" compared to the desktop app.

Morgen has a large variety of very useful features, including scheduling link, task management (being able to tick reserve time for tasks in the calendar and thicking them off directly there is REALLY appreciated) and AI-powered automatizations. The interaction with a growing amount of third-party solutions makes it a real game-changer for me. Oh.. and it looks really beautiful of course.

Sleek and Simple Time Management with Everything Integrated

An application with truly remarkable levels of integration across all the tools users are using, including the more challenging integrations like Apple and Notion. The level of control offered in integrations and the promising future that their Assist automation platform offers is unparalleled. I can't wait to see Morgen continue to grow and reach its full potential.

I use Morgen for over a year for both private and personnal purposes. It is very valuable to see all calendars in one place or only 1 as you like and need with 1 click or shortcut. Morgen is highly personnalizable and with more features and integrations as months go by it has become a daily companion helping me optimizing my time managment.

Best time management app I've ever used.

As the owner of two businesses, time is my scarcest and most valuable resource, and I'm always spinning many (too many...) metaphorical plates at the same time. That my work is also very collaborative makes this even more of a challenge. Thanks to Morgen, I can see all my appointments at a glance. People can use my Morgen booking page to arrange video calls at times that suit both sides. And its task management allows me to drag work items right from my task lists into the few remaining time slots, and my calendars get updated immediately to avoid conflicts. Apart from the productivity boost it gives me, I also love about Morgen that it doesn't just work with Google and Microsoft accounts like most other solutions in this space. Its integrations (most importantly, CalDav, Todoist and Notion) allow me to use the productivity tools that fit my needs perfectly. If I had to go on a deserted island and could only take one app with me, it would be Morgen. Wait, would I have broadband there?

Fantastic and Simple

The ability to bring together all my to do lists and integrate it with time blocking has helped me tremendously. It works reliably, and the integration with other services is solidly implemented. I have not used to booking page features yet and am probably not an advanced user. But even without the advanced usage it is still a game changer for me.

Best Calendar Tool to Date!

This does well within the category it exists. It's not claiming to be anything but a calendar and scheduling tool. So whining that it doesn't handle email seems a waste of time on my end (though it would be welcome) Morgen handles tasks and events perfectly. It's missing meeting polls, but this is still the best calendar tool I've ever used. I'll be using it for a long time.

Great tool overall but pretty slow and laggy

The tool itself is AMAZING! I LOVE it that I can use it for time boxing, and especially when I can box some thing for 5 minutes (which you can not do in other competitor's) the only thing that bothers me the MOST is that... the tool consumes a LOT of resources at the back end of my computer, which makes it laggy and work very slow... in the task manager I always see it competes with my google chrome (which has like 50 different opened tabs every moment) I find myself rebooting my laptop pretty often because of that, because I am a very busy person in my calendar, and I really don't like it that I need to wait so long for every action of this tool. my laptop has 16 Giga RAM so it is clearly the tool that is consuming a lot of my CPU. you guys HAVE to improve that.. besides that.. the tool is fantastic!

Pro calendar app with a surprising number of innovative features

I've been using Morgen for a couple years now, and it's been simply amazing to see so many great new features getting added month after month. At first, I used Morgen to integrate my todos and my calendar. The mobile app did exactly what I need: very quick, no fuss input of Todos, which sync to my Mac so that I can then sort them and schedule them in my calendar when I'm at my desk. Brilliant. The desktop app lets me schedule events a bit like Calendly does, but it's all integrated within my calendar which is, well, how it should be? I select a few slots in my timeline, create an invite link, and send that over. Done. I did panic a bit after installing the last update - was the feature killed off? Thankfully no, but it's now called 'Open Invite'. Not sure if I would have called it that, but it's one of those things that's pretty hard to name consistently. It's also possible to create recurring booking slots, and to display them on a personal booking page. My personal booking page has a few weekly slots available for my team members to book one on one meetings with me, again a massive plus. Recently, they've added a whole suite of automation tools ('Workflows') which I've only begun to dabble with. My favourite so far is called Team Meeting Optimizer: you can mark events as flexible, and Morgen will suggest to move them around in order to optimise focus time. Of course, this is only useful if your team mates also use Morgen as it can only shuffle events around once it knows every team member's availability. To conclude, Morgen is a powerful and feature rich calendar app, scheduler, and calendar automation platform, at a very reasonable price. I don't know anything else on the market today that even comes close. That being said, all those new features have begun weighing a little on the desktop app's interface, which eventually will need a more radical re-design in my opinion. Great work!

Using Morgen for a bit more than one month in now I increased my productivity and share my availability with friends & colleagues easily and without the hustle of endless coordination. The promising Roadmap with real user input gives me the feeling they really listen to me. Improvements I would wish in having more integrations and more customisation in the integrations.

Transformed the way I manage my time

I started using Morgen 2 years ago and it has become a central tool of my daily organisation, helping organise external meetings faster, manage my todos, oversee multiple calendars and since recently, even automate certain time management tasks. I really like the individual scheduling link feature that enables me to share only specific time slots to external partners to pick a time, much more respectful than the rough "book me here" Calendly one that open my whole calendar to all. Since recently: the "propagation" feature is a game changer as it helps block the time slots booked in a calendar in another one.

Excellent calendar and task scheduling app with availability based booking and

I originally found Morgen as a beautiful calendar app available on linux (and windows/mac os/mobile), capable of connecting to lots of different work and private calendars. This includes caldav sources, outlook/office365, google, ical, and more, which finally allowed me to see and manage all my various calendars in one view in one place. Additionally, Morgen has their own task management and scheduling system, and is able to connect to several other popular task- and project-management tools for efficient time-management. Furthermore, Morgen offers various automation workflows such as travel time blocking, or propagating events between calendars for example. I especially want to highlight the responsiveness of the Morgen team, both to support questions with issues, and to feature requests. The team regularly and continuously interacts with their user community, making sure that ongoing and future developments meet as many wishes as possible.

The most complete calendar app in the market!

Morgen exists to make the best use of our time. They help me manage all of my calendars in one place. Morgen Assist can assist me behind the scenes with tasks such as propagating events from one calendar to another or creating travel time slots when I need to commute for certain events, so I'm never late. Their task management feature is powerful and well-designed. I connected Notion to Morgen, and scheduling tasks from Notion in my calendar has significantly increased my productivity! I'm glad Morgen is doubling down on their task-focused features!

Lost without it

I have been using Morgen for almost 2 years. On desktop. There is nothing better! The mobile app does lack features and functionality but is good enough for me. An active discord with engagement from the team. Consistent development, feedback, and discussions really helps this app feel like something that will last. There are far too many features to discuss in a review, but be sure if they don't have it, it has probably been suggested and on the roadmap somewhere.

Clean and intuitive

I started using Morgen because it was one of the few tools that let me bring all my calendars together from different providers (I am locked into Outlook at work and use Apple Calendar for my personal calendar). But over time, it's become more than just my consolidated calendars - using Morgen has transformed the way I work. I've started tracking my to-dos in Morgen and recently connected Linear for my work, and now I plan my days with time blocking. This has been truly transformative for my productivity. There are also some small but great experiences baked into Morgen. I love that it adds my travel time to and from meetings and blocks buffer time after meetings. They're little things, but I love that I just don't have to think about them. What I want most: A task widget (I use the calendar widget but would love a to-do list widget).

Awesome calendar tool for teams and busy individuals!

For over two years, I've used Morgen as a calendar and time management tool, enhancing my daily routine. Its simple design and user-friendly interface are features I value a lot. Especially the scheduling link simplifies finding meeting slots, and integration with Todoist streamlines task management. I have been super excited about Morgen.so's "Time to" feature as it optimizes task flow and team time management allowing for better organization and more time for essential tasks. For example it is creating buffers between meetings and helps to reschedule flexible meeting in our team to be more time efficient! My experience with Morgen.so has been highly positive, as i have experienced a significant boost in my productivity. I recommend Morgen.so to anyone seeking a reliable time and task management tool.

Must have productivity tool!

I have been using Morgen since its inception and I followed in awe its development and introduction of new features. First off, the design is clean and carefully crafted, this is very important to me as cluttered screens heavily hinder my productivity. The unification of multiple calendars (especially based on different technologies) has massively simplified my workflows and saved me a ton of time. Also, while I am not a super-user of tasks, the clean organisation and the simple steps needed to create them and schedule them allows me to keep a few very important tasks always in sight. I also want to highlight an aspect that is sometimes discounted, but the support has been wonderful, I have communicated a couple of issues I had encountered and the team promptly solved the issues and thanked me for providing feedback.
