A great app with unique features, but also some shortcomings

Agenda Notes is a beautiful app that comes close to an all-in-one task manager. The three pane design is elegant with the ability to hide the folder and calendar panes with a click. The app is available on Mac, iPhone and iPad and syncs fairly well via iCloud. One of my favourite features of the app is the 'On the Agenda' overview. The intention of this section is to put what you're working on front and centre. I find it a great place to include a vision statement and goals to keep you on track. It's a feature I wish other apps had. Another feature I love is how integrated the calendar is in the design. When preparing for meetings, you can tag notes to a specific date. This allows you to have all pertinent information just a click away rather than scrolling through categories and projects. Organization is pretty good within the app as you can organize your notes through categories, sub-categories and projects. The notes contained within however display the full text, which can be useful, but once a project contains a fair number of notes, can become quite cumbersome. Agenda Notes is nice to write in. You can create a separate window for any note, allowing you to expand it fully for distraction free writing. You can use markdown in Agenda, allowing you to get your thoughts that much quicker on the page. The app also hides your markdown tags, making your notes look great. I have a couple issues with the app. A big one for me is the lack of handwriten note support. I prefer to be able to write by hand or by keyboard as the mood strikes. As well, I have experienced some syncing issues across devices from time to time that requires a full reset on all devices. The free version will get you most of what you need. If there are some paid options you would like, you can purchase a one year subscription and keep any of the updates within that year. Only future updates require a further subscription to receive their benefits. It's an app I always come back to.
