How does Semrush work?

Semrush has a lot of powerful features inside of one account.

The goal of Semrush is to get all aspects of your site on the same page so that you can build a better understanding of how your site is affected by Google, how it ranks in Google and search engines, and the value of your content.

Is Semrush worth it? Or not?

Semrush is expensive compared to tools like aHrefs.

Largely, we found Semrush difficult to navigate and find what we needed, even from using other SEO tools, but once you were able to find your way around features like AI recommendations and content exploration that gave you a score on your content was extremely helpful for narrowing down how to improve your writing all in one.

The keyword research isn't as easy as aHrefs, and our general thoughts is that aHrefs is easier to comprehend day-to-day, but Semrush has more all-round offering for local, PPC and content marketing teams.
