My daily resurface of what I read
Readwise is an excellent tool to help bring highlighted snippets back to mind. I was impressed when it simply connected to Kindle and I could get some old highlights back to front-of-mind. Then, once I connected it to Goodreads, Instagram, and Notion, I was blown away. I can review my list in Notion whenever I want, and I can organize them how I want to. Additionally, I can set the number of daily snippets. I found 7 to be too much, but 5 was the right spot. I also really enjoy that it brings back some of my top rated (or favorites) back weekly. I think it could some tweaking as it is sometimes difficult to find what I need in the web interface. That being said, this is a wonderful "set it and forget it" app that works like a champ. Love it!

The most essential app
I don’t use Readwise as much as I should but the confidence in knowing that it’s always there, working behind the scenes is valuable. If I could only pay for one app, this is the one it would be. When searching other productivity apps, if they don’t have Readwise integration, it is no longer considered as an option for me.

I got annoyed when people mentioned Readwise because I didn't understand the value of saving bookmarked links, PDFs, and highlighting them - what's the point? I already use Fabric.so, so what's different here? A lot. I'm a huge believer in lifelong learning, and not many of my tools provide that but Readwise does. Their daily reviews are great, so you can check out the highlights that you've read in the past and it'll just remind you. I think this is great because I do love flashcards, and this just does it for me automatically. What that means is that all my notes are centralized onto one platform, and you get to have automatic reviews of your highlights and notes of a certain topic and book. I really appreciate Readwise and I can't imagine living without it.
