A platform for all your data
I use Routine to have all my tasks in one place. One of the main features I like is its ability to connect with Google Calendar. However, there are some aspects that could be improved, such as integration with Google Tasks and the lack of an Android app.

What TickTick or Todoist should've evolved to
I played around with Routine and the design instantly tempted me to shift to it. I kept telling myself "Try to find the problems with this app". As a task manager it's great and it's also a full fledged note taking app. They are really ambitious with this project. They want it to be a project manager, a CRM, PKM tool and most importantly, they are planning to make it very customizable so that our own productivity philosophy can be used with the app. Honestly, I couldn't find a flaw with this app.

I liked the Notion integration
I tried out Routine for a little while before. It was alright; I did like the Notion integration and the idea of scheduling out my tasks. But I found it a bit slow and clunky at times, and when Notion Calendar came out with database integration, I found I no longer needed an entire separate app for what I wanted to do.

Waiting for development!
The Developers have not made any new updates since December. The Android app is off their roadmap, and it really doesn't have anything to offer. I signed up for this almost a year ago, and it's still not usable as a Todoist replacement, and the price is too high. I thought it offered a lot of promise but it hasn't been realized yet.

Daily Planning Hub
Routine is one of the most interesting new apps on the market. It combines tasks, calendar and light notes, this is growing as a hub type of productivity app and from playing around with it for many years, I'm impressed with what they've done and what they have planned going forward for lightweight tasks and projects.
