Near perfect - even for the free options
I use this app almost 4-5 times a week. It's great for focus work and focus timers. I like that it's very simple to use. Not overly complicated with extra bells and whistles. I also like that it can use real-time information to adjust the music/sound. For example, it links with my apple watch to gauge my heart rate and adjusts the music based on it. Though, my favorite part of using the timers is how the music seems to swell to a close almost like the end of a song. Excellent app with a beautiful, simple, and charming interface.

Good tool for helping focus
In using Endel for about a year intermittently, I find that the generative music can indeed help me focus; most of my usage has been as a focus (pomodoro) timer, and the management of this is quite good, with one exception on Android that the screen will relock during the Pomo - the notification retains the time but not the control to move from Pomo to Break or start a new Pomo without unlock. Such a minor inconvenience; so a solid recommend.

Calming, innovative tool with room for growth.
Endel is a well-designed app offering innovative features for focus and relaxation. It's practical and performs smoothly, but the pricing could be more appealing for casual users.

Nice sound, not sure if it's effective
Endel is pretty interesting. The sounds are soothing and there's research to back it up (not much though), but I'm still very skeptical of recommending it to anyone because it's just sound, which may be gimmicky. Personally, I find it to be relaxing. It helps me focus and sometimes helps me sleep. But I don't know if it's the placebo effect or if it actually works. So, take it with a grain of salt when you want to use this software. Overall, I love it. I use it everyday. But I just don't have the heart to recommend it because there's not much empirical evidence yet on its benefits. Otherwise, if you want to listen to nice sounds, then you can use this.
