Todoist calendar is one of the most hyped of the task management's history and after a completely re-designed look, Todoist want to add calendar soon.
Todoist have long been keen to add a calendar mode like tools like TickTick, and now they are doing that. Whilst this version is very much an experiment mode and Todoist eagerly want to add to this - this will give you a little flavor into what and where the Doist team are with their development of the Todoist calendar platform.
First things first, calendar is limited right now to projects allowing you (inside of the beta experimental mode in Todoist) to switch this on per project you run. They plan to make calendar mode everywhere, but naturally they want to absorb all the learnings here first.
Important note: Everything you see is beta and an experiment. This is not the final product and is not something to fully comment on. Things might change. This is the new Todoist calendar allocated right now to projects and pinned as a month view meaning you won't be able to drill down to week or a set series of days, yet.
Clicking into a date allows you to add a Todoist task with the date you clicked pre-allocated. Perfect for adding task information and instant date adding.
Something we weren't expecting in the beta but a way to pull tasks into the system that have no dates as part of the project, ideal for sidebar use too.
You can switch between month with the new Todoist calendar and hit today to get back.
You can now see three views in the project view allowing you to scrobble between them. I'm assuming soon they'll allow people to save views so you can save multiple ones.
Just hoover over any of the tasks and the key information comes up. Glance look.
